The website does need an update (I don't plan for it to go anywhere). The design is from 2010..."modern" at the time, but I'm thinking about creating something Wordpress-based.

Time flies! If you haven't, be sure to check out the 35th anniversary newsletter from three years ago. Q&A's with Paul and Linda Fusco, an interview with "ALFmeister" (the biggest collector in the world)...not to mention fun activities like a drinking game (for those over 21 of course, HA!), etc ...

I also added a spam countermeasure that is available with phpBB. It's a simple Q&A (spell ALF backwards...so that should be simple for a real person). Hopefully this eliminates the final couple that make it through here and there.

The more I hear about what an amazing person he was, the more saddened I am to hear he`s no longer with us. Forum software was just updated from phpBB3.3.11 to 3.3.13 - I also updated the header extension. There were a few errors cropping up this morning (causing the forum to work intermittently), so I think this should address that issue. Sorry that the forum was down temporarily.

Two spam accounts got through (pretty typical on phpBB forums). They are deleted. There was a third account - a member account - that was also spamming. I'm guessing it was just a hacked password there.
