Project: ALF coming to Blu-ray in North America!

It was announced about a month ago but I thought I would share it here. A company by the name of Liberation Hall is releasing Project: ALF for the first time in wide screen high definition on Blu-ray this Tuesday, June 13th! I have read an early review of the Blu-ray which praises the visual ...

Re: NECA releasing an ALF figure!!!

By the way, is anyone just happening to be going to San Diego Comic Con? NECA announced a comic con exclusive ALF figure yesterday! It's $40. I'm hoping it will somehow get released on their shop later down the road. *fingers crossed*

Re: NECA releasing an ALF figure!!!

I never got around to posting this until now but I finally got my hands on the NECA Ultimate ALF figure back in April! It's one of my favorite pieces of ALF merchandise that I have. The detail in the figure is second to none and it's a great sign of respect to the ol' Alfer! The packaging is ...

Re: Can anyone tell me why Shout! went the Lionsgate route?

Why did they use the edited episodes? It's probably because of licensing fees. ALF features scenes that feature licensed content including music, song lyrics and other licensed content. It's why a lot of TV shows on DVD have edited episodes. The companies releasing this stuff don't want to pay the ...

R.I.P. Liz Sheridan 1929-2022

I just read unfortunate news. We have lost another member of the ALF family. Liz Sheridan has passed away at the age of 93. She will live on in our hearts as Raquel Ochmonek. It was just last weekend I was watching the ALF marathon and was reminded of her golden moments on the show. She had a great ...

Re: NECA releasing an ALF figure!!!

NECA makes very good quality figures. The fact that they were interested in doing ALF is a huge compliment! I'll definitely be getting one..........maybe 2! HA! One for collectible purposes and the other to take out of the box and display in my figure collection. Looking forward to this piece of ALF ...

Re: ALF's Out of This World Marathon!

I just watched the final episode of the marathon. Very disappointed! No closing remarks or any at all from ALF on the final episode. After the credits rolled they aired a commercial and the marathon restarted! In total I think I seen maybe 4-5 different ALF segments and they were very brief and dull ...

Nope. I also noticed Can I Get A Witness? was altered. They are definitely using the syndicated episodes.

Re: ALF's Out of This World Marathon!

I've watched 6 episodes so far. I definitely noticed missing footage (The Boy Next Door). Also, the commercial breaks are annoying and show the SAME clips every time. They also keep repeating the same two ALF segments over and over again where he talks about smart TV's and the ability to DVR ...

Re: ALF's Out of This World Marathon!

There hasn't been any clarity on which version of the episodes will be used. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the syndicated versions but who knows? Maybe Shout will surprise us!

ALF's Out of This World Marathon!

Hello everyone! I'm surprised that there hasn't been a lot of talk on here about ALF's Out of This World Marathon airing tonight at 8 PM ET on shoutfactorytv.com That's right! Every single episode of ALF will be airing back to back starting tonight hosted by ALF himself with newly recorded segments ...

Re: Can we get this forum going again!

I think most of it was the lack of ALF news and activity. There was a really long gap without any merchandise or any activity from ALF himself. With Shout Factory's recent acquisition of ALF distribution I hope to be here on the forum more.

By the way, hello everyone! It has been a while!

Re: Vote on new Twitter poll by Funko for new ALF figures

The chance of ALF getting a Funko Pop figurine is very high compared to anything else that could be happening for the franchise. I was looking at my local games store the other day and the lineup of Pop figures is staggering! There's some obscure stuff that I never would have expected getting in the ...
