Paul Fusco Interview (April 4, 2007)

I've succeeded (mostly) in ripping a copy of this interview with Paul Fusco. It's ~500MiB XviD/MP3 that I RARed into ~200MiB chunks so I could upload it to MediaFire. You can grab it from the ALF directory of my MediaFire account at the link below ...

Re: Your reaction to the cancellation of ALF?

I was surprised, shocked and crushed. I didn't really mind the season 4 cliffhanger (kinda builds the suspense), and I figured that they had to bring it back for a 5th season... otherwise, why the cliffhanger? I think I found out by reading the new fall line-up in TV Guide magazine that ALF had been ...

Re: www.bringbackalf.com

It was a compromise... when I met my future wife and we first moved in together I had too much stuff. Oodles and oodles of comic books, VHS videos, LaserDiscs, LPs, collectables, etc. I had to get rid of some of it. I sold off the ALF collection as well as my Cutey Honey collection and my Betty Boop ...

Re: ALF Games for DOS

Very nice! The Add and Subtract with ALF is for the Commodore 64/128 anyway, so no help there... and I don't blame you for not wanting to break the seal on your vintage games. We need to find 'em in good condition, but already opened (so there's no real harm done). When I get a chance, I'll scour ...

Re: ALF Games for DOS

Yea, it's a huge and ambitious project taking place at Underground-Gamer (a site I've been an active member at for many years now). They have a firm idea of which games were commercially released, and they've trolled old magazines and catalogues trying to find every reference to every game so they ...

That would be Season 2, Episode 16 – "Trances of a Lifetime": Aired: 4/30/1999

...nope, I never saw it (didn't even know ALF was ever on there). I'll be sure to keep my eyes peeled for it.

Re: www.bringbackalf.com

Bad news... I can't find my eBay images anywhere. I may have lost them in a harddrive crash 6-7 years ago. Damn. Some of the more unusual items i had included an ALF WindSock, ALF arm-floaters, all 8 issues of the ALF Magazine (I worked at a bookstore at the time and made sure we received them ...

Re: ALF Games for DOS

My last computer with a 5.25" Floppy Drive died about 6-7 years ago. I rebuilt it and in my ignorance, I discarded the floppy. I just checked for prices... yikes! A 5.25 Drive will set you back $50-$100! Who woulda thunk it? I know a couple of very responsible fellows who would be glad to pull the ...

Re: ALF Games for DOS

Hmm... apparently you've done your research well. ^_^ My main source is also missing those two games. Interestingly, these are the listings I found in a large MS-DOS Complete Project: 1988 Alf- The First Adventure v3.2 (1988)(Box Office) [Action] Alf- The First Adventure v3.3 (1988)(Box Office ...

Re: John LaMotta: ALF was the "worst work I ever did"

Just noticed that Alien Productions have been removing the bloopers clips on You Tube Yea, I've just become aware of those blooper reels and can understand why Alien Productions worked so dilligently to have them eraticated from the web. They're rude, crass, insulting, and portray a poor image for ...

Re: ALF Games for DOS

ALF: The First Adventure was conspicuously missing from your list... I'm assuming you already have it? (if not, I have an actual floppy disc image for this one) Could you provide a complete list of the MS-DOS titles for ALF? Indicate which ones you already have and which ones you have yet to find ...

I distinctly remember them being reprints of stories already published in the monthly ALF Comic from Marvel/Star... only smaller and grainier. Only go for them if you are a completist.

'80s Cartoons? Now yer singin' my song! Favorite can't-miss cartoons from the '80s: ALF Tales (not just sayin' that because it's an ALF forum, this 'toon is hilarious ) Garfield & Friends (probably the most inventive 'toon on US TV until Tiny Toons came out) Mighty Mouse - The New Adventures (weird ...

I've been using my handle on the Internet for over a decade now, and I use it everywhere for the sake of consistency. It's a misspelling of Cirith Ungol ... so I can rest more assured that it's available wherever I go. For those that aren't fans of J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle Earth fantasy novels ...

Since you will own the DVDs in question, it's completely within your rights to burn your own Region Free copies so you can play them in your set-top DVD Player. I'm unsure if such discussions are allowed on this forum, but if the Admin is willing I can tell you how to do it quite easily with freely ...

WayCoolMusic Blog

I just found this great little music blog that has a few fun ALF downloads available: WayCoolMusic It includes MP3s of the Burger King "Many Faces of ALF" give-away records as well as recordings from the Coleco "Talking ALF" toy cassette tapes. Lots of fun and a nice romp down memory lane!
