Deleted Chipmunks scene from For Your Eyes Only

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIUASoF98OE&ab_channel=AlfBestMoments Since people hardly post here in the sitcom subforums, I doubt I'll get an answer, but can anybody find the English audio for this? I'm trying to figure out what ALF says after Jodie says she's having a great time and of course ...

Imagine ALF on the 4th of July

He probably got hold of all sorts of fireworks and TNT, much to Willie’s horror. Did they ever mention 4th of July?

Can anyone tell me why Shout! went the Lionsgate route?

By being cheap and not including the ORIGINAL episodes? Wtf? How come overseas they can, but here, the uncut will likely never see the light of day again?

Re: ALF's Out of This World Marathon!

🤦‍♂️

Disappointed in Shout! factory.

Thank God for the German sets at least … but seriously … why couldn’t Shout get access to the full episodes? I just don’t understand.

Re: ALF's Out of This World Marathon!

Well it looks like they’re syndicated 🤦‍♂️ They posted the “full” pilot on YouTube and it was 21 minutes. Just … why?

Re: ALF's Out of This World Marathon!

I don’t see why they can’t get the uncut episodes, seeing as though they DO exist. How else were they able to release them in Germany? With everything Shout has released over the years, they have to be the uncut ones! I’ve never been disappointed with anything they’ve released. They released the rema ...

Where was ALF actually taped?

I was reading in the Noiselesschatter ALF reviews blog, someone posted a pic of the outside of the Alien Productions building, from the 80s. It looked like an office building, not a typical LA soundstage. Someone said it was next door to where they shot The Wonder Years. I cannot for the life of me ...

Re: ALF's Out of This World Marathon!

I wanted to ask, are these the actual uncut episodes? Or is Shout going the Lionsgate route and being cheap by only using the syndicated prints? I’m happy I have the uncut ones ripped from the German sets but please tell me Shout is doing ALF justice by releasing the FULL ORIGINAL episodes? Even the ...

Re: Favorite version of ALF--scruffy or groomed?

I like his nose in early season 1 too. It points downward a little more. I was watching Keepin the Faith and when he sucks in his cheeks, it made me crack up. lol

Favorite version of ALF--scruffy or groomed?

My favorite version of ALF, hands down is from the first half of season 1. Deeper voice and more slicked back fur. There was something about his face too. I can't describe every feature of season 1 ALF. I love how he did that finger point, for instance, when he says "Nice meal Kate, even though the ...

DVD cover arts

Which cover art do you prefer? The American Lionsgate sets, or the German ones? Only cover art I like is the American S1 and the German S4.

They made ALF way bigger than the Tanners on the German S2 set. lol. And he has a creepy face on the German S1 set.

Re: #41: Can I Get a Witness?

My favorite part is when he "watches" Dance Fever and jiggles the dolls tied to the string hanging from the ceiling. XD The american DVDs cut out the entire first scene where ALF asks Willie if he can watch football and his version of applause is belching, then he, Willie and Brian go outside to ...

Re: #49: I'm Your Puppet

The part when Willie enters the kitchen to see ALF sleeping, and the puppet is sill talking (ALF's asleep, you're talking to me!), creeped me out. I never understood that part. Was Willie dreaming? lol.

Re: Your reaction to the cancellation of ALF?

I was watching Project ALF this morning and the people at the Task Force mentioned that the Tanners turned down living in Mozambique because of the school system. So maybe they chose Iceland, and they weren't forced to live there. Honestly, I would've loved to live in Australia or Italy, lol. I too ...

Re: Consider Me Gone

I don't think the cast even wanted to come back for a 5th and final season, considering how long it took to tape one episode. Said Andrea Elson: "If it had gone one more year, I'm sure we would've all lost it." And then Anne said "There was one take and Max walked off the set, went to his dressing ...

Re: Your reaction to the cancellation of ALF?

Well, I was almost 1. I didn't see it until I bought the season 4 dvd. It's sad how the Tanners had to be taken away from their home, to live in Iceland. And even worse for ALF that he got caught by the Alien Task Force. I wonder if the family was hounded by reporters after that.

Re: How many watched during the original run?

Yeah, this is LuckytheCat, I made the original post and can't remember what my password was. lol. Haven't been on here in 4 years. I wish I could've remembered ALF's heyday. I think I mentioned this in my OP, I found a comic book from 1988 in my grandpa's basement. The cover had Willie covered in ...

Re: German ALF DVD set

I ripped all the uncut episodes into mp4 files and now watch them on my iPhone on the way to work! :D I just did the same thing last week. I used Magic DVD ripper and ripped them into original MPEG format so the quality wasn't downgraded. But, instead of putting them on my iphone, I put them on a ...
