The unaired pilot, Try to Remember, and the one ALF bets on horse races have the original opening credits of ALF trying to steal a pie in the fridge. It was cut out in the syndication version for the most part. Not to mention the unaired pilot shows some scenes that were cut out from the aired pilot ...

I noticed that when Paul Fusco perfected his ALF voice at the end of the first season, ALF also started doing the hand gesture often.

It's sad that Lionsgate will never release ALF uncut. ALF has a lot of the same problems that WKRP in Cincinatti has - red tape (song rights, syndication, etc.).

It's a little bit slow right now because nothing new is going on. All four seasons have been released on DVD as well as the tv movie. There is no news on a new movie at all. Liongate is determined not to fix and clean the original, uncut episodes and release them on DVD.

The unaired version of the pilot does have one advantage over the aired version: it is uncut. Plus you get to see the original opening credits with ALF trying to steal the pie in the fridge and Kate slapping him on the hand. I really miss that in the syndicated versions.

From Season 3, I would add in Turkey in the Straw parts 1 and 2 and the episode Willie fights the auto repair guy back. From season 4, I would add in the episodes of Neal showing up for the first time and the one where ALF and Willie try to find treasure in the desert, though I would take out Kate's ...

There was no "syndicated" version of ALF Theme Music. All versions of the ALF Theme Music (with exception of 45 RPM recording) were created for use during the run of the original ALF TV series. Mike If you watch the epside "Try to Remember" and another episode like "Come Fly With Me", the opening ...

Other than the Easter Egg and two episodes from season three, the season 4 DVD release was a let down. There should have been a reunion featurette at least.

The biggest disappointment I have with the syndicated version of ALF for seasons 1 and 2 is that the original theme music was replaced. I though that it was better than the synidcated version.

Alf definitely needs to go back on television as well as the Honeymooners, Friday the 13th the Series, and Mr. Belvedere.

I could have mentioned the election over a month ago, but I chose not to. I prefer to avoid politics here. The season 4 DVD does have a legitimate letdown. Lionsgate did not make the effort to have a reunion featurette with the cast of ALF. And as to the post about where I get the news, I prefer ...

It's more of a letdown really. Shows like ALF, I Love Lucy, Star Trek, and The Honeymooners are known to be foul language and blasphemy clean. In the 4th season of ALF, the occurances are far more frequent than I would like them to be. Other shows like The Simpsons, Mash, and Friday the 13th have ...

Biggest Let Down in 2006

What would you think would be the biggest let down for 2006. I would have to say that ALF is not on television anywhere in the United States, cut or uncut. My second choice would be that television shows like Friday the 13th or Mr Belvedere were not released on DVD.

Season 4 Is the Worst

In May, I got the season three of ALF and it was very good. There was only one mishap when the bum in the Thanksgiving says "Hell". Season Four is a different matter. Five episodes were ruined by the word "Damn". One was ruined when Lynn says "Oh My God". In the treasure seeking episode, Kate says ...

I pretty guarantee that ALF will host the menus for season three as he did with the previous season set releases. I would appreciate it if they put all the scnese lost for syndication in a deleted scene section and add scenes cut from seasons 1 and 2. Plus a 30 minute featurette reuniting ALF and ...
