I was older than some members of this Forum are today when I first watched color TV.

Well, I've never watched full length episodes of tv-shows or film on them. I've always used color-TV.

I used to have one. I might still have it, but I don't know where it is at.

Yep! My parents had a couple smaller black and white televisions when I was younger...I used to watch TV on them often.

It'd be cool to have a real retro-TV :)

gosejohann,

Well, I guess you won't be interested in purchase of my newest invention which is an overlay for your TV screen that converts color back to black & white. HA!!!!

Welcome to the Forum, anyway.

Not sure if this counts, but I used to own a tiny black & white tv which I kept in my room.

I was born in 1974, but we didn't get a color TV until 1984!! Even that was passed on to us by my Dad's parents. I think we bought our first color TV the next year or the year after that. Since then we've never gone back!

Yes, I had and watched black-white tv.
Here's a little story about that. My dad when he was younger had that tv, and when he buy color tv he just put on side the black-white tv, and when I was a child our color tv needed to be on repair so dad bring the black-white, so for day and two we watched shows on B&W TV and it was strange but interest. And after that I sometimes would go in the room where we put the B&W Tv and watched for a while, but today we don't have it anymore.

I saw a couple of episodes of "'Allo 'Allo" on a b&w TV. Jeez Edith's nose looks huge on those.
That ain't a vision of love, it's a yoghurt commercial !

I used to play Atari 2600 on a black and white TV. The Atari even had a little switch to change between B&W and Color mode.
