[Bring Back ALF]

I am pleased to announce that my ALF website http://www.bringbackalf.com has launched.

There will be lots more content added over the coming months and im going to be updating every month.

I also forgot to mention that when Geocities closed we lost at least THREE good ALF sites...definitely a bummer...

I still need to update my links page with those sites. I'll also add yours to my front page and links page too (hopefully sometime tonight).

This site is truly FANTASTIC!! I am amazed! You have done such a fantastic job and my hat goes off to you on this. I am so happy that you have opened this site up. Lots of interesting stuff on this site.

I was working on an ALF website a few years ago but I had to eventually abandon it due to lack of time and I was having problems getting things to work properly. I got to open it up for ALF's 20th Anniversary and had a vote on the top ALF all time best moments which most of the members of this forum participated in.

When did Geocities close down? I noticed that Spaceman's ALF site was gone forever, along with two other great ones. Things like this truly break my heart, I always visit these sites once in a while, even if they are never updated anymore. Gives me the nostalgic feeling that can't be replaced.

Anyways, Mark, your site is AWESOME!!! The design is great and so is the content, very original. I hope the site grows in popularity, as it is truly an asset to the ALF community.

Geocities closed in October 2009 - not 100% sure why. If I knew who owned those websites I would offer to host them in a subdirectory here on my site (to keep them going, and of course for nostalgic purposes)...

Isn't there a place you can go to visit old sites that are no longer available? I think all you need is the address to the former site and enter it to see how it looked before it got taken away. Would love to do that and take some screencaps so that in a way the sites are saved.

Get a photo and send it over to the site if you can. I got the idea as when I told friends about making an ALF site, many of them said I know someone that looks like ALF!

You know I don't know if it is awesome or just plain pathetic that I possibly have the world's biggest Alf collection. Like seriously someone else has to be close or bigger right? If mine is the biggest than what is the point to continue?
