I think you might be thinking of Steve Kimball, he sold off a lot of his stuff though. I've got a decent sized collection, few rarities i'd be happy to be exhibited at any convention.AxelFoley wrote:Luke, aren't you the guy who had thousands of ALF things in your collection, or am I remembering things wrong?

Well, if you're up for it, I'm sure us fans here on the forum would love to just see some pics of it in the meantime. There's a thread where you can show off your ALF collections on this forum. Here's the link if you're interested: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1446Luke wrote:I think you might be thinking of Steve Kimball, he sold off a lot of his stuff though. Hey, I'd go just to be able to brag to my friends that "I'm going to an ALF convention."
Also, don't forget Max Wright, Anne Schedeen, Andrea Elson, Benji Gregory, and most contactable of all, Liz Sheridan (I have her email!). Although I sadly doubt that the first four would consider going when no one's heard a peep from any of them since that People Magazine article in 1997 (although unfortunately the same can't be said about Max Wright).

Hey, new member here, long-time fan and long-time lurker on the site (though not the forums).
Just wanted to add that even though I'm in Norway, if money and location allowed it, I would definitely want to attend - especially if cast members were present and *especially* if Paul himself was there!
As others have mentioned, he is definitely in Connecticut.
As for charities, these seem to be the preferred ones for the Fuscos.
Content-wise I would love to see everything suggested previously - especially Q&A sessions!
And finally, location. New York is easier (and cheaper) to get to from most places in the world than many other US cities, so would be my primary preference. I'd be willing to travel almost anywhere, though.
Would love to see this happen! :)

Re: ALF Convention 2011
Last night I actually had a dream that I attended an ALF Convention LOL!
I got to have my picture taken with Max Wright and Anne Schedeen. Some of the cast and crew were there including Paul Fusco and John LaMotta. If only it wasn't a dream!!!
Now this actually happened to me today. I went to my local Dollarama and found the Project: ALF DVD bundle! I don't know if having this dream last night and finding this DVD today was some sort of coincidence?

Re: ALF Convention 2011
I do not have the time or the resources to make this happen. Best thing would be to either have a small get together, or plan something along with an existing sci-fi convention.

Re: ALF Convention 2011
Has this happened or is it going to happen? I found this when I was thinking of suggesting my own idea for a convention. My thoughts would be to plan for 2016. I realize that's awhile from now, but that's long enough to plan, get in touch with Paul Fusco and the cast members, etc. It would also be in time for the 30th anniversary.
Of course, I could help plan, but I don't know about attending. It would be awesome to know that a convention could occur.

I was the originator of the idea but have been busy at work to be on here. I am on my summer break finally and I've set up a starter website for the fan meetings.

Re: ALF Convention 2011
Did this ever happen ? Last post was from 2011, and was hoping there would be some pics from the event !
Haven`t gone through all of the forum, so I might have yet to see some more info on this, or another con that had ALF there.
Even now, in 2024, he would still be a big attraction, as would anyone who was able to attend with him.

Re: ALF Convention 2011
I don't believe this ever came to fruition. Of course, it's not too late to make one happen. Maybe a resurgence on this forum could possibly lead to one in the future.
