Fake ALF's?

Did anyone else ever own a fake ALF toy or item?

I had a couple of plush ALF's a few years back and they were really terrible, must have been given away at fairgrounds or something, wish I still had them as they looked so bad it was funny!

I bought an "ALF" doll on e-Bay once that was advertised as life-size. It looked good on the e-Bay picture, but when I got it home and looked at it from different angles it was a little disproportionate, and when you pressed it, it would talk, but it was in a different language. I'm assuming it is some sort of overseas knock-off.

I have an ALF doll that was probably a fairground giveaway...it's neat, but is definitely not a "quality" item.

Glad I wasn't the only one that had a fake ALF!

I think in recent years they have been produced in Argentina as I have seen some other ALF bootleg stuff on ebay from there.

Do you think the cookie jar could be a fake ALF item as im not sure if it was ever officially produced?

Yes, I have several bootleg ALF items, aong them dolls. I love having those kind of things in my collection, makes it all the more special and unique!
