ALF sold the gold form his spaceship and ordered the car over the phone (I would only assume that ALF paid for the car to be delivered).

Jeremiah is right. The broker must have helped him with all of it, I imagine.

I didn't like this episode as a whole very much. it's one of three or four in my collection I didn't have recorded from the original run of the show, including the beauty pageant, the final episode and one other...so I only got to see it on the dvd release. I think the writers made Lynn too much of a brat...there's just something off about her dialogue and attitude.

I don't think she was acting like a brat at all. I mean come on, she's 16 and gets a Ferrarri (a car she probabl will never be able to afford in her life) as a gift and just when she sits down in it she's told she's not allowed to keep it. I think we'd all be pissed!

I liked this episodes and the beauty pageant one. There was somthing about the ALF-Lynn episodes. I really like the one where he makes the video for her. However, as I've gotten older, I've thought: "An alien from outer space expressing affinity for your daughter--that's more of a horror film than a comedy!
I would have loved a reunion episode in 1996 or so, instead of PROJECT ALF, with ALF living with Lynn. I always thought he would pass on to her. She and her husband could have been dealing with the laughter and tears of having an alien and starting a new family. The other original cast members could make appearances.

You know what? That's not a bad idea, not a bad idea at all. That could have been a great scenario for a spin-off sitcom after Project: ALF or something, with some of the former cast members returning every once in a while.ALFsince86 wrote:I would have loved a reunion episode in 1996 or so, instead of PROJECT ALF, with ALF living with Lynn. Re: baby drive my car
Thanks, Alex. Yeah, that makes the most sense to me. Willie and Kate would be getting older and busy raising Eric, Brian would be finishing high school/starting college. I imagine the pilot episode could be Lynn--who has been to college, got married, and is now on her honeymoon--and she lays it on her husband that they will have a house guest.
Husband: For how long?
Lynn: Only for the next 50 years or so.
Then Lynn's hubby would be introduced to ALF and, of course, the two would instantly have an ALF-Willie-type relationship.
The episode could end with a tear-jerker and the promise that we will see Willie and Kate again...
ALF: I'm gonna miss you guys.
Willie: Oh, ALF, you'll see us again.
ALF: REALLY! Will you come over every Monday night?
Kate: Maybe, not, EVERY Monday night.
ALF: Every other?
Willie: We'll see each other ALF.
ALF: Was I really that much of a pain?
Willie: Oh, no. It's just, you know with Eric and with Brian--
Kate: And we're counting our blessings that we still have Lucky.
ALF: Yeah, that reminds me, I've gotta get Lynn a cat. Leave it to humans to forget the most important wedding present!
Willie: We know you'll be OK, ALF. Lynn loves you, and we love, maybe in a few years we can have you back.
Kate: Or maybe you can stay with Brian.
ALF: No thanks. Brian only likes CHEESE pizza.
Willie: You'll be fine.
ALF and Willie hug. ALF puts out his arms and Kate reluctantly hugs ALF.

Re: baby drive my car
That was pretty funny, kudos! Though I must point out that Lucky dies in the fourth season, so he wouldn't still be alive

Whoops. I had my doubts as I wrote it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they get kittens afterward and didn't ALF decide that he liked cats?
