I was deeply touched when ALF decided to stay. Although this episode wasn't all that memorable to me, it's always heartwarming to see them pour out their affection for each other.

And Lucky in the suitcase was funny!

This is one of my favorite episodes of this season. I love it when they display affection to ALF and vice versa. It's one of the most touching moments in the series when he says his goodbye's and also when he's decided to stay. It's also a very funny episode and one of the funniest scenes is the one previously mentioned where he packed their cat in his suitcase

This episode receives a 5-star rating from me.

This installment is a notable from a collector's standpoint because it is the only episode to have a direct sequel in the ALF comic book series. In ALF Annual 1 Rhonda returns again and when it looks very much like ALF will go with her Brian loses it. The comic book solution is that ALF clones himself. The original stays with the Tanners and the clone goes to New Melmac.

Most of the ALF TV characters (including the ones from the cartoons) eventually appeared in the ALF comics, the notable exception is Jake, the Ochmoneks' nephew.

I loved getting a glimpse of ALF's Melmacian friends on this episode.
