Anyone know what font was used to type the ALF trademark that became synonymous with the franchise?

ALF vector converted to JPG. I have little clue how to define a vector...Mark?

I would assume they can have different dimensions (one-dimensional, two-dimensional, etc.) - with the ALF vector you could probably put it on a grid and set coordinates for the lines/curves and things like that. Am I in the ballpark?

Yes that's correct, almost every logo on any product is hand drawn in Illustrator using a vector graphic. As it's not pixel based like a jpeg you don't loose any resolution so it can scaled really easily without loosing quality or becoming a massive file.

That vector file of the ALF logo could go on a huge billboard or an ALF pen!

pretty close! but the letters are too thin and curly. I found one that is a lot better.
