As some of you know, I recently got "permission" from my wife to use our bookcase to display part of my ALF collection. It's not done, but here's what I've got so far. I definitely need a second case...

Looking great, Jeremiah! Several things I don't have in my own collection. BTW, is that a Billy bookcase from IKEA?

No, not an IKEA bookcase...but it was a cheaper bookcase (I think around $30) when I bought it about 7-8 years ago. Wouldn't doubt if it's a similar or even identical design though. I would love to find another like it! I'll have to check out the IKEA.

Jeremiah, can you spill the details on that ALF's Hit Talk Show DVD case I see laying on top of all your DVD's? I assume that is a DVD case. Is it something you made for yourself? I really like the looks of it

Wow, nice autograph! How did you get that one? Did he supply it or did you?

The cel came autographed and inscribed in 1989 and I had it matted and framed. It has been proudly displayed, along with our other animation art, in our homes ever since. It's from the ALF-Tales episode; The Elves And The Shoemaker.

If no one minds, I'm going to dig out some of my other goodies and post them. Some are one-of-a-kind and I think they're pretty cool. But I'm in the process of a 6 month move from North Miami to Deerfield Beach and to say my "stuff" is in a bit of a logistical uproar would be a huge understatement. Fortunately, fingers crossed, I should be finished in a month. I don't know if other collectors have had to move recently but it's a nightmare. I've loved looking at members' collections here - all are pretty impressive - and I wanted to add some of my own and be a part of the community.

BTW, loving this entire forum. You guys have done a great job!

Here are uncirculated "just off" covers from the two ALF humor books; ALF Speaks Out! and ALF Sounds Off! If you look, they are a bit off. This what you get at the beginning of a print run until they have everything set just right. They also don't have that finished "shine" to them. I have two, in much better condition, framed. Those two are from later in the run when everything is lined up perfectly. By the way, my scanner won't be hooked up for a while but when it is I'll scan all of the ones I can and substitute them in here instead of these lousy camera shots.

This postcard was sent, in bulk, to all of the NBC affiliates that were running ALF so they could be put in the lobby or sent to local advertisers... that type of thing. They were fairly common before ALF premiered and much tougher to find afterwards. I'm pretty sure there are still a lot out there.
