ALF TV in 2011/2012

Hi everyone,

Just finished making some updates to the website this evening - looking through my updates page, the year 2011 had the SECOND MOST updates ever (only my first year in 2003 had more updates). Hopefully 2012 will look even brighter. We also saw about 116,000 visits (from app. 75,000 unique visitors). Hopefully as movie news develops we can get more traffic around here.

My question for the forum membership, what kinds of things would YOU like to see on the ALF TV website in the future? Any room for improvement? I can't guarantee it will be done, or even if I have the skill to do it, but would like to hear what you think anyways.

I am coming up with my plan of attack for the new year and always appreciate new ideas. Things I plan on working on this next year:

1) ALF pictures page - yeah, I know, I've been meaning to get that updated for years. I have a couple galleries up, but definitely need more.
2) ALF newspaper clippings - I have a lot of these and would like to create a page for them.
3) Continue to add to the new memorabilia guide (always looking for volunteers/opinions on projects like this).
4) More info on the ALF comic books (I started scanning all of the covers, but I'd also like to compile a list of all of the titles of individual comics, authors, etc.).
5) More detailed episode guides for the ALF cartoons - probably won't get it done in 2012, but I can dream...

Any thoughts?

Yes ALF picture page would be great, i would also like to see mores ALF quotes.

i miss the caption game, but no point in bringing it back if there isn't enough participants.

I think I found out a way to get more pictures integrated into the website. What has been preventing me from adding more pictures is that it is extremely time consuming; however, I think I found a script which will allow me to upload pictures much faster (which means I will actually do them now).

I tested the script on the ALF's Hit Talk Show pictures:

http://www.alftv.com/pictures.php - go to "ALF's Hit Talk Show" and that is what I intend to do throughout that entire page in the upcoming months. You can even play as a slideshow if you'd like.

Congratulations on the new hits, hopefully the newsletter generated some of those.

I would like to see more on your merchandise page and do you intend to have an ALF movie page when the movie goes into production?

Yes, right when the movie becomes "official" I will add a page. I anxiously await that day!
