Ok, so I was thinking about this the other night and I wanted to ask around to see if someone knew the answer. We all know Lucky was wrote off the show in the episode 'Live and Let Die' from Season 4. It just came to me the other night and I wanted to know if they wrote him off the show just for story idea purposes or did the cat that played Lucky actually die in real life causing them to have to write him off the show? If anyone knows the answer to my question please let me know.

I have no idea, but my guess is it was just a storyline they wanted to explore. Both Lucky dying and ALF suddenly loving cats had a lot of potential and delivered IMO one of the best episodes of the season.

Too bad about Lucky though.

I am pretty sure they used more than one cat in the show. I'd say it was storyline purposes (although I can't see why would someone come up with the idea to kill off Lucky). Still, true provided for a nice episode.
