Hi board my name is Mark (AlfaManiac) & I'm the latest new member. Glad to be among other Alf fans. I think Alf's irreverance is THE reason the show is still sooo popular. So popular in fact I think it could survive today since TV really sucks baaad these days. I'm waiting w/ much anticipation for the CGI/Live Action 'smurfs-like' movie. NBC was as Fusco said very premature cancelling ALF as there was and still isn't anything close to ALF on television.

Thanks, glad to be here. I never knew how good I had it watching tv back in '86. Alf, Miami Vice, Magnum p.i., Love Boat, Johnny Carson, Family Ties, Growing Pains, Different Strokes, etc., etc.. I could go on & on.

I too prefer late 80s/early 90s television.
