My name is John and I a new ALF viewer. I would occasionally catch an episode here and there throughout the years but never actually sat down to watch an episode until I caught it on the Hub a new weeks ago. After that I started watching it on Hulu and I have to admit it's a pretty entertaining show. Incase you're wondering I was born in February of 1989 and was made aware of the character through my Mom who'd crochet stuffed animals usually based on characters such as Garfield, Ninja Turtles and ALF. She started doing this while pregnant with my Sister in 1982 as a way to make some extra cash while she was on maternity leave. She'd usually sell them at craft fairs. Also, my Dad would make wooden yard ornaments on the side based on Peanuts, Looney Tunes and yes...ALF. So I suppose I knew who he was eventhough I didn't really watch the show.
