just throwing it out there that someone posted on youtube all the scenes that got deleted when the series got syndicated and put on DVD. so for those that are unfortunate enough to be stuck with the US DVD edits, here is all the stuff you missed.

Re: Deleted scenes from syndication/DVD
I would have thought it was much more than just an hour and 25 minutes. Let's say 2 minutes is missing from each episode and there are 102 episodes, that makes it 204 minutes, over 3 hours of stuff missing.

Re: Deleted scenes from syndication/DVD
i don't know, maybe the person forgot about some of the other minor edits, when ALF and jodie sing the chipmunk song and the original broadcast of the episode "try to remember" is not there, but all the rest of the important stuff is.

That's what I suspected. Great job, though!

Re: Deleted scenes from syndication/DVD
Thank you for uploading that. I was actually the Impreza driving, Mac hacking, Michael Jackson cranking then 16-year old ALF fan who had a field day. I can't believe they hacked it to pieces like that! Also I never got to see the 3+ hour one . I read the description and I also think Lionsgate used the syndicated versions because they were being greedy ducks who didn't want to pay royalties. And I too find it ironic that most of the songs were cut from a show where the majority of the episodes are named after songs.

Re: Deleted scenes from syndication/DVD
Hi ALF fans,
The full video containing all 3½ hours of deleted scenes from the region 2 DVDs is back up. Here's everything that has happened. I originally posted this video on YouTube and it was flagged by them for copyright violation, so I searched for another video streaming site to post it that does not ban videos as liberally as YouTube does and that has no upload size limits. After searching and trying out various video hosting sites, I finally found one and posted the new video link here only to discover later on that my account on alftv.com along with every one of my posts had been deleted simply because the message I posted containing the video link looked like spam at a glance, unless of course you actually read any part of the message. Needless to say, this has been a long and frustrating process getting this to you and it got me wondering if all this trouble was really worth the effort.
Anyway, the URL below is NOT spam and links directly to my video. There are a few caveats that you need to know first. For the best experience, I recommend having an ad blocker installed. The hosting website has a bug where upon navigating to the link below, you'll probably see a message saying "The file was removed by administrator." This is normal. All you have to do when you see this message is simply refresh the page one or more times until you see a button that says "Proceed to video." Clicking that button should display a still image of the video, but if it doesn't, refresh the browser and try again. Once you see the video still image, click the play icon in the center of the video still. If you see a "Stream in HD now" overlay, you'll have to click the little 'x' button and dismiss that before you can click the play icon. Do not click on anything that looks like a dialog box nor the large "download" or "play now" buttons or you'll be linked to another site that requires a credit card. The video may take a while to buffer, so be patient. This site isn't perfect, but it's free and it's the best YouTube alternative I could find for this particular video.
If you like the video, please post a comment here so I know that my efforts weren't in vain. I dedicate this video to the Impreza driving, Mac Hacking, Michael Jackson blasting ALF fan.

Update: Once again, it appears that another video hosting website has bit the dust. I just don't know what to do. Oh well. Nobody seems to care anyhow.
