I'm thinking of writing him again, requesting another autograph, saying I would love to have the one with the purple background. Should I? Maybe it would sound greedy? Hoping he will say "No Problem!"
I see "no problem" in requesting second autographed photo, especially since (if I recall correctly) you were most gracious to include cost of shipment with your request. However, do not be offended if your request cannot be granted, since "star" photos for autograph are often produced in limited production runs. Supply of the "purple background" photo may have been exhausted, and autographed photo you received could now be only one available.

OK, I'll see what I'll do, I'll let you all know. I would send a picture for him to sign, I have several ones, BUT I read someone send him 2 photos and that he kept those photos and send him one of his own. I wonder why.
Hello, I'm new here, this is my first post. I live in the US and would love to get an autographed photo, what did the ones of you in the US do to get one? Just send a letter? Or a letter plus an extra stamped envelope? Or just an extra stamp? Thanks!
Some Forum members did, and some did not, include return envelope with attached postage when writing to successfully get autographed ALF photo.
I would be willling to bet that, if you write a really nice letter requesting ALF autographed photo and including your return address, ALF will pay cost of return envelope and postage for mailing to U.S. address.

Good Luck,

I agree entirely - many of us have heard that ALF, uh...I mean Paul Fusco, is a great guy. I would bet money that he would pay the postage; however, I would recommend including a self-addressed AND stamped envelope anyways. Who knows, a stamp and an envelope could be what gets you that autograph.
I got my autograph today! It's the purple picture and says "Yo Kate - Thanks for being a fan - you have great taste!! HAAAA!! Best Wishes Your Pal, ALF"
I simply wrote a letter to him and he sent it first class.
Glad to know that "the old ALFer" didn't let you down. Now you need an expensive frame and conspicuous place in the house to hang your autographed ALF photo for all to see.
Wow, that was really nice of him. I doubt many other celebrities would do the same. maybe I should send him another letter requesting an autograph as replacement for my damaged one.
