i knwo they put alf on dvd .. but there is nothing like the orignal airings of the show when we al watched them for the first time .. i watch mine about .. well alot haha .. has the origianl commercials . great to watch cant believe the tapes are stil here there about 9 vhs tapes. mom foudn them when she was cleaning my old room .. was glad she called me and gave htem to me . altho i will buy the dvds they put out . ut jstu cant beat these i think . watching the dvds seem liekthey edit stuff to so i know i got the real thing .. oh also have the special " alf loves a mystrey" aired way back when haha anyways glad alfs back on tv awsome huh !! go alf !!

I love watching my originals! The 80s commercials (especially the Mentos commercials that they still used up until a few years ago) are fun to watch. The old soda commercials are also pretty neat.

Admin,

If your tapes of the original ALF TV Series are still in decent shape, think about transferring them to DVD as soon as possible, so that you can preserve history for at least another ten years.

If you have access to a second VHS recorder, or VHS to DVD burner, I would very much like to get copy of "ALF LOVES A MYSTERY" special which I do not have in my ALF library. Happy to pay cost for VHS tape or DVD disc and shipping, if a copy would be possible. Let me know.
