Changes in Member Ranks - Suggestions Anyone?
For those of you who haven't already noticed there are member ranks (relating to the number of posts you have made).
They are currently (in terms of minimum posts)
Newbie: 0 posts
Junior Member: 10 posts
Senior Member: 25 posts
ALF-aholic: 50 posts
ALF Aficionado: 100 posts
The titles Moderator, Asst. Admin, and Site Admin are all custom titles.
I am looking to change these titles to make them more into "ALF titles" - something like "Foam Dealer" instead of newbie (that's just an example). If anyone has any suggestions about possible changes to these ranks please post.

Well.....if your looking for some suggestions on the comedy side of things....how about Jaffie for a person who has a low number of posts. The next level up could be insurance salesman like when ALF thought he was Wayne Schlagel. Mucksucker could be another rank if you relate it to the episode where ALF talks about the sport of mucksucking on Melmac. Hopefully these ideas are of a help to you.

Just wondering if anyone has any further suggestions - I'd like to update the member ranks sometime in the next few weeks. Some members have already reached the top (over 100 posts) and it's time that we update this.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I think someone had suggested to me something like "cat rancher" - that may also be a good one.

"Cat Lover" might also work for a low rank.

Perhaps "The Sentinel" would work too.

Does anyone know what ranking system the Melmacian Orbit Guard used? Perhaps we could use that as a ranking system here.

Okay - please tell me what you think of this suggestion.
Perhaps using the Melmacian Orbit Guard ranking system. Based on the cartoons I know they use the ranks "Private" and "Colonel" which would lead me to assume that they use a ranking similar to parts of the US military.
Orbit Guard Private
Orbit Guard Private 1st Class
Orbit Guard Corporal
Orbit Guard Sergeant
Orbit Guard Staff Sergeant
Orbit Guard Warrant Officer
Orbit Guard Chief Warrant Officer
Orbit Guard 2nd Lieutenant
Orbit Guard 1st Lieutenat
Orbit Guard Captain
Orbit Guard Major
Orbit Guard Lieutenant Colonel
Orbit Guard Colonel
Orbit Guard Brigadier General
Orbit Guard Major General
Orbit Guard Lieutenant General
Orbit Guard General
Orbit Guard General of Army
We could always condense these as well (so there aren't so many - on the other hand, having many ranks would allow members to move up more quickly - in short, motivate them to be active). Anyone have any comments on this? Good idea? Bad idea? Just a thought...

I like the idea, really cool. All of them should be used, for inspiration to be more active among the newer members.
