Another ALF website gone

Post by Admin »

I'm sorry to report to all of you that Steve Kimball's UltimateALF.com website is officially gone. As far as I know he has no plans to put his website back online - he also does not own the domain name either.

Steve Kimball has operated an ALF site for over 10 years if I remember correctly...

Actually...I've been thinking about it. There are good links for that domain name that would draw additional traffic to this website. Probably won't though- the company that owns it now will probably want an arm and leg for it.

Do you know the reason why he decided to drop the site?

He got married a few years ago - my guess is that he just doesn't have the time that he used to.

I honestly have no idea though. I've been thinking about e-mailing him, but I don't want to sound rude by doing it.

Wow, 12.000 ALF items? That's crazy! He probably has some great stuff that any fan would want. I see he only ships to the US, that's too bad...

Nevermind - I couldn't get it to work all yesterday. Kept telling me that "this site no longer exists" or something like that.

Ahhh - I see what the problem is. I just went to it again and it says that it has exceeded it's "transfer limit" - I guess too many people are visiting the site and eating up bandwidth.

Mike, just wanted to let you know that the domain expired and I purchased the ultimatealf.com domain name the other day.

If anyone here is interested in making an ALF website PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE ULTIMATEALF.COM DOMAIN NAME - I would like to see it go to good use. I bought it so it wouldn't be bought by a domain company (then they would charge an outragious amount of money for it). I wanted to see it "stay in the family" lol.

Oh, and I bought two other domain names for an ALF-related secret I am working on - hehe

:)

Admin,

Just curious - How many "ALF related" domain names do you currently own?
