What color will the season 4 DVD set be?

Just a fun discussion I thought of today - what color do you think the next DVD set will be?

Season 1 - blue
Season 2 - yellow
Season 3 - green
Season 4 - ?

My guess is red - that would be the next logical color in my mind (it's the last primary color - the other two are blue and yellow).

Red would be a good choice the only thing is ALF is written in red on all of the sets....it would be really weird having red on red....they would have to change the color of ALF to have the background red....but hey it still could be red

I have to guess red, but I see the problem in being that the title is in red. I guess that would have to make sure that the colors won't clash with each other. Maybe a deep burgundy or something.

Red makes sense, since that is remaining primary color, but "ALFwasmyfirstword" brings up good point about then needing to change past color of "ALF" which has been red; therefore I am guessing burnt sienna (color of ALF's fur and Kate's hair).

I would like to see Season 4 be in orange. I don't think orange is a bad color. Who knows, LionsGate might go wacky and make it purple.

To be honest, I wouldn't doubt if Lions Gate decided to use a color that they already used. For example, the fourth season DVD set being blue or yellow again! I don't think they would, but with all the questionable decisions they have made thus far it wouldn't surprise me.

Hopefully we'll see the cover art sometime soon.

Maybe there's a connection and a clue they are giving us, I'll explain:

On the 1st season set, on the top of the set it says "Season one" in a yellow field (which is the color of the 2nd season).

On the 2nd season set, on the same spot it says "Season two" in a green field (which is the color of the 3rd season).

On the 3rd season set, on the same spot it says "Season three" in a blue field.

Maybe this will be the color again?

All I can say is that you people are really smart. I never noticed this color scheme pattern until now. You know, since this is the 20th anniversary of ALF coming up, it might be cool if the final season was a shiney silver, gold, or bronze for that matter. The letters ALF on Season 2 were shiney so maybe we may have a shiney background to commemorate 20 years and the final season.

Think "AxelFoley" may have discovered pattern which is much more than pure coincidence; therefore, I am now changing my guess to some shade of "Blue".

I went to videoeta.com and was curious if they had put any info about ALF: season 4 on there. I saw that they had an image of what the season 5 cover will look like. It is the same cover as season 1 except that ALF is wearing binoculars. Here is the link

For some reason tvshowsondvd.com does not have season 4 on their release calendar with other tv shows for september, I don't understand that.

It seems this link has different artwork then you had mentioned. ALF is now dressed like a singer and there is a purple background. One of my guesses is that Season 4 would be a certain concentration of purple. I guess I must back up a statement I made earlier in this topic and that is LionsGate did go wacky with the purple color. It does look good though. So now everyones question about the color has been answered.

Melmacian56, thanks for the info. My computer screen shows the color in a purplish-blue. I wrnt back to the site and looked at it more closely and I do see ALF being a singer because now I can see the microphone in his hand and sunglasses around his neck. I had to look at the image more closely. From the small image, it looked like binoculars.
