That is correct. Recently Bowling Green State University played in Cleveland, Ohio against Wisconsin State in football and as the fan started singing "On, Wisconsin" I knew I had heard that song before and right away I knew it was ALF. And I remember many ALLF fans are from Wisconsin I had to ask it as a trivia question.

Your turn. :-)

Thanksgiving on Melmac was called "Frappiano". As with many other unique Melmacian terms, the name was derived from using the last name of a crew member on the original "ALF" TV series, in this instance Bob Frappiano - special assistant to ALF.

Admin, most people lose bits and pieces of their memory as they age, but I seem to be adding things, like an extra letter "r" in "Fappiano".

Anyway, next question:

During the four seasons of the ALF TV series, how many versions were there of the ALF theme music?

artemis_kunzite,

Since more than a week has passed without any response, suggest you provide answer to your current Trivia Question, for the benefit of all Members to know, and then ask a "new" Trivia Question.

Correct! I would like to backtrack for a second. There is an error I would like to correct. In a previous question, it was about ALF theme songs. In truth, there is actually 3 different versions, 2 for the first 2 seasons and 1 for the last 2 seasons.

melmacian56 & ALF1986,

Answer provided by "ALF1986" to "melmacian56" Trivia Question IS NOT CORRECT, unless the audio mention of Mr. Fusco's name is to be judged as a cameo appearance. In Episode #81, Title: "WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE", Mr. Fusco does make a cameo appearance (see below), but not as a Willie look-a-like who happens to have the character name of Mr. Fusco. Per the credits for this episode, Aaron Lustig was the actor who appeared as the Willie look-a-like character with name "Mr. Fusco".

As for actual appearances by Mr. Paul Fusco during the four season run of "ALF" TV Series, I am aware of the following TWO episodes in which Mr. Fusco does make cameo appearance:

Episode #22, Title: "IT AIN'T EASY BEIN' GREEN" (Original Episode)
Mr. Fusco appears sitting in the audience at Brian's school play.
**NOTE: Mr Fusco's cameo appearance unfortunately was cut from sydicated version of this episode that is on Disc #1 of ALF - Season One DVD set with Title changed to "IT'S NOT EASY BEING GREEN" for proper English wording.

Episode #81, Title: "WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE"
Mr. Fusco appears as host of "Crimestoppers" show ALF is watching on TV at the start of the episode.

melmacian56,

Regarding your posted correction noting that there are actually three (3), instead of two (2), versions of Theme Music for "ALF" TV Series, I have sent following personal email to Mr. Alf Clausen (composer of ALF Theme) requesting an answer from the authoritative source:

alf@alfclausen.com

Dear Mr. Clausen,

If possible, please be so kind as to take time from your busy schedule to answer a question concerning theme music that you wrote for the "ALF" TV series.

Question: How many versions of the "ALF" Theme Music did you write?

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated as authoritative source for answer to trivia question appearing on the ALFtv.NET forum where there are conflicting opinions as to whether there were two (2) or three (3) versions of the "ALF" Theme Music.

Thank you,

Will follow up with post of any response received from Mr. Clausen.

From what I know there is 3 versions because in Seasons 1 and 2 there is 2 different versions of the theme because 1 version has an added part towards the end. I don't know if there is any altered versions for Seasons 3 and 4.

melmacian56,

Based on information supplied in my post pertaining to actual cameo appearances by Mr. Paul Fusco during run of "ALF" TV Series, you need to announce if "ALF1986" still retains the right to ask next Trivia Question.

The intent of my post was only to provide correct information for all to know, and not to challenge for right to ask the next Trivia Question. In my opinion, I think "ALF1986" should still retain right to ask next Trivia Question, since he did supply the answer you were apparently seeking.
