ALFtv.NET Fan Forum Chat Night - January 28, 2007, 11:00pm (GMT) - here's how you do it!

-Must be a registered member at the forum

-Login to your "profile" (link is on the top of the forum mainpage) and change your timezone to "GMT" - just make sure you know how your timezone relates to the GMT/Forum Time (myself for example - 11:00pm GMT turns out to be 5:00pm in my timezone). To find out the GMT/Forum Time just go to the forum mainpage - http://www.alftv.net/forum - and see what time it is!

-To enter chat just go to the top of the screen and click on "chat"

Have fun - let me know if these instructions are clear enough for you. Please e-mail or send me a private message with comments/suggestions/etc. I will be updating the Index page of the website Tuesday morning sometime with this information.

juan_alf,

Appears to me that your computation of time for Forum Chat in Argentina as being 1:00 am local time is incorrect.

Using following link, I compute 11:00 pm (23:00) GMT as being 8:00 pm (20:00) local time in Argentina.

I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with the GMT, it's confusing for a European with these time-settings and such. All I know is that it's 10:10 in the morning at the moment, and I wouldn't miss this chat for anything, it seems I will though as I can't figure this thing out.

See following link to figure GMT in Sweden. At this time of year, GMT plus one (1) hour is your local time; therefore 11:00pm (23:00) GMT on Sunday, 1 /28/07, would be midnight (24:00) on Sunday, 1/.28/07 your time. Since I am always confused if midnight is the same day or the next day, let me add that one (1) second after midnight (24:00) your time would be Monday morning 1/29/07.

I am trying to find a few dates towards the end of this month - I should have a few dates/times in my head in the next week or so. I'll keep you all updated.

Also, if anyone has any suggestions as far as dates and times feel free to send me a private message or an e-mail.
