New Forum - Other Television Shows

There are quite a few forum categories here at the forum already, but to promote discussion of television shows other than ALF I have added a forum called "Other Television Shows".

I have added this forum so we can discuss other TV shows we like (we can already do that in Chit Chat, but I feel this would encourage it more).

This is experimental - if it does not work out I will move the topics to the "Chit Chat" forum and dispose of "Other Television Shows".

I think that's a great new forum as I am a big fan of lots of shows other than ALF. I'll be sure to start a couple of threads and hopefully they will keep on coming.

Forced to voice my oposition to you concerning this recent decision. This is an "ALF Forum", and I strongly belief no efforts should be made which might tend to de-emphasize that fact.

Members already are provided with adequate opportunity to discuss "other TV shows", if so desired, by posting New Topic in the catch-all Chit-Chat Forum. If any member should truly desire in depth discussion pertaining to "other TV shows, I really believe they should be participating at another Forum.

Mike does have a pretty good point there. It might draw the attention away from ALF since this forum is not that big and active at times.

Please keep in mind this is just an experiment - the forum "Other Television Shows" is not meant to overtake the rest of the forum.

The verdict is in - the experiment did not work. The "Other Television Shows" forum is now part of "Chit-Chat" again.
