Project: ALF is coming to DVD!

On March 15, 2005 (hey, three days after my birthday lol) Project: ALF will be released on DVD and VHS. They will be region one (United States, Canada). I'll get you more information if I find any.

Current infromation appears to indicate that March 15, 2005, release date of "Project: ALF" is only for Canadian distribution. As mentioned by Admin, more information will be posted if, and when, available.

Yep, so far only distribution in Canada, but it shouldn't be a problem to get (for US people) online - Amazon is one example.

Admin brings up good point in mentioning potential for on-line orders, if interested (but not living in Canada) from source, such as Amazon.



Be advised that would be Amazon.ca (not Amazon.com), and that you would be ordering VHS/DVD in Region 1 format which is intended only for players sold in North America (U.S. & Canada). Note: Believe DVD drives in all computers (no matter the country) are multi-formatted and will play Region 1. Also, non-Canadian residents, be aware you will pay international shipping rates and may also be subject to customs charges, dependent upon destination country.

Is this Movie any good? i have heard things about but I am not sure if should buy it or not. Is there any mention of the Tanners in t he movie.

Read my admittedly biased review appearing in Topic "Fan Reviews" in this "Project: ALF" Forum.



As for the Tanners, only mention of the family is in opening scene where testimony reveals they have been placed in the witness protection program.

Personally I really like the movie - the first time it takes a little getting used to (since the Tanners aren't involved and whatnot) but I definitely enjoy wathcing it.

I love it, it may be a whole different setting and totally different casting, but it's definatley a must see. Same old ALFer, with the usual lines and mayhem.

You do not have to feel slighted all alone this time. Read earlier posts that reveal the "Project: ALF" DVD/VHS is being released only for Canadian distribution.



April 19, 2005, is date Amazon.ca (Canada) now states that "Project: ALF" DVD and VHS tape will be available for shipment.



You mentioned buying from internet. Earlier post under this topic provides links to Amazon.ca sites for order of both DVD and VHS tape. If interested, you can place pre-order at this time. For unknow reason price for DVD is significantly less than price for VHS tape.

I'll definently be getting this DVD! I can't wait to see the film. I'll have to use some birthday money to get it. Nice to see it comes out the month of my birthday which is good timing.

Thanks for posting your updated information. I (too) have noted changing and conflicting information concerning the release date for "Project: ALF" at both Amazon.com and DVDEmpire.com.



Currently, there appears to be no definitive information as to when "Project: ALF" will now be released.



Would be nice if the "powers that be" (whoever they are) got their sh*t together and learned how to run a business!
