ALF Computer Game

Post by melmacian56 »

I havn't seen any thing on the forum about the ALF Computer Game. I might as well bring it up since I still play it. Does any one still play the game? If you do, then what level have you made it to?

Yep, I've got the game - really fun too! I have it for my Commodore 64 computer, unfortunately I haven't been able to play it for a couple of years...I think I have a bad cable that I need to replace. One of these years I'm going to have to buy a better one on eBay and hook the thing back up.

As for what level I got to, I honestly don't even remember.

I have one for my PC but I haven't even got past the first part as I don't know what the hell to do on it. It's run on a programme called Dega. But that's the only game I have.

I have it on a disk that works on my PC and the speed is a little bit faster then what the original one works at which makes the game more difficult. Let me tell you, Willie gets faster and even smarter and when you get caught it makes you wanna smash the monitor  lol. I can not beat level 2. I really like the feature that when you complete a level, you get a piece of a puzzle that contains an image of ALF.

There's no way it's gonna be MANUFACTURED FOR xp, but you can probably find a Sega Master Sytem emulator online, and then download the ROM and play it.

Yeah, I'm not sure about that either... actually I've never even seen the C64 version. I was talking about the Sega one. Can anyone guide me on how to get past the first level?

The computer and Sega versions of the ALF game are completely different.

I thought so. Only thing I know about the Sega game is that you try to look for parts to your space ship.

In the Computer game you find parts to ALF's spaceship too but the gameplay is totally different. The computer game is a maze type of game where you must move ALF around 1 of the 3 or 4 levels. You need to get 4 cats and take them back to the garage while avoiding Willie and the Dog Catcher in order to get the space ship part to appear on the screen. If your caught by Willie you must return all of the items that you collected and start from the first of the level but you don't lose a life. If you are caught by the Dog Catcher you lose a life. After you get the 4 cats and the space ship part you advance to the next level. The game is pretty difficult and frustrating but really FUN.

If they're different I guess I've never played the SEGA game then...I do own a SEGA system so maybe I'll have to buy the game and try it out.

Well something good happened to me last week. I got the ALF computer game back. I had lost the game last year when the floppy disk I had it on got de-magnitized :( Luckily a friend had a copy on disk and he gave me a copy :) This game is a real treasure and hopefully more of you will get to play it someday. I recommend you all get this game somehow.

I am fine with that. I figured these posts were breaking the guidelines. ALF did not know about this and hopefully everything is cleared up. Let's just hope everyone catches on to this rule.
