While we're on the topic of ALF toys, does anyone remember the read along books? I know those aren't strictly toys, but I always loved reading and listening to those.

I didn't have any of those when I was a kid, at least not to my recollection, but I have 3 that are in my collection at the moment. However, I have not yet listened to anyone of them. The storyteller is in Swedish so I'm not as drawn to it as I would if it would have been the real ALF reading.

I know I had ALF plays detective. I think I had another one too, but I can't remember for sure. I'm not sure, but I think the cast of the show even did the voices on the detective tape. I was usually pretty sharp about that kind of thing as a kid and I remember thinking that at the time.
