This is BAD!!!

This could quite possibly be the worst day of my life. My dad taped over ALL of my episodes of ALF's Hit Talk Show (except the pilot) - I sure hope they have re-runs so I can get them all again.

Admin,

Perhaps, you should inform your Dad that an extremely expensive Christmas present will be necessary for you to forgive his monumental mistake.

Since there have been no additional new episodes produced, as I had noted in my "FUTURE???" post, very likely TV Land will re-air all of the existing episodes. Evidence of this is most recent schedule that I have seen, which indicates pilot episode is to be shown again on Friday, 12/24/04, at 11:00 PM ET/PT (Christmas Eve) and also on Saturday, 12/25/05, at 2:00 AM ET/PT (Christmas Day).

Wow, I'd be really upset. Maybe you should hide them in a bank vault. Hope you get to re-tape them.

Exactly! It sucks that your episodes got taped over but there is lots of people (like me) who can't see the show which really peeves me off!

Thanks for the thought, but agree with you that probably not a good idea.

Plus, I really need a combo VCR/DVD recorder, since my ALF tapes are on Region 1 VHS. Best to dub over to DVD to be sure you would be able to view them.

Hmmmmmm, I thought most VHS players were multi regional...

Oh well.. your right it would be better to throw it over onto DVD anyway, but the DVD recorder we have can be plugged into VHS, other DVD players and the T.v.

Well, got some good news.

I've managed to get back all of the episodes I lost with the exception of episode #6. I'm sure that I'll be able to dig that up somewhere.
