ALF "Stuck On Earth" Remix

I was searching around the internet and saw that there is a song by ALF (Stuck On Earth) I've heard the song on an episode when he raps with Lynn. And also saw this video on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EbwV3_2GqM

It says this is from 1987, but there's also a version that is two years old. Someone know what I'm talking about?^^

(And where can I get it or listen to it?)

Yes I have that song on a vinyl single. You can find it on the Swedish auction site Tradera, it appears there once every few months. If I find it there I'll be sure to give you the link for it.

No I don't think I have ever heard the club mixes, the B-side of my Vinyl single is something instrumental only, Crusing On Melmac Interstate is the name of the song.

it is from 1987. was created for a radio show in the netherlands by DJ Ben Liebrand.
he used to remix a different song each week for the "Curry & van Inkel" show and one week he had no ideas for a track to remix, and after watching a few taped ALF episodes he came up with the idea to make a song from the rap in the show.
the mix proved hugely popular and it was arranged to have it released on single. it was a top 10 hit in the netherlands.
there was a second song made, but due the long process of figuring out the rights (matching different lines to their writers) it was decided not to release that one.

There are several different mixes of 'Stuck on Earth' available, including a club mix and a house mix (on http://www.discogs.com/Ben-Liebrand-Lie ... se/1500309, direct from the Master Tapes by Ben Liebrand himself)

That's roughly the story....

No, I didn't have anything to do with it. I'm a Ben Liebrand fan and he explained a lot on radio and TV ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiPHaTIYKCE ) (in Dutch) , and I've met him a couple of times.

also, we both a members of the 'mixfreaks' mailing list, where he set a challenge to make a videoclip for the song, which I did
