Forum Announcement

I think that some of you have already noticed that you must now be a registered user in order to have full access to all the forums here. Guests can now see the "Forum News and Suggestions" and "Welcome Guests" forums.

Why have I done this?

There are so many people that browse the forum, but never join. I feel that this may lead to more people joining and posting here.

Should this not work, it can easily be changed back.

Hey, it's worked on me before on other forums. The curiosity got the better of me and I signed up and stayed on several of those forums. Lets hope the same will happen here with our guests!

So far things are looking brighter - there have been 3 legit registrations in the last few days. I'm hoping that at least one of them posts - the more the merrier!

Unfortunatley, confronted with registration requirement, we will never know how many Guests just opted to leave, and never return.

The "experiment" did not work out as well as planned, so the forum is now viewable by everyone (registered members and guests).

I think you should give it more time Jeremiah, it's too soon to tell IMO.
