Bernie Brillstein Passes Away

Post by Gordo »

Bernie Brillstein, Executive Producer of the ALF sitcom, and the person responsible for getting ALF's creators Paul Fusco and Tom Patchett together, as well as selling the sitcom to NBC has passed away. He died on Thursday night, aged 77. Whenever ALF mentioned his manager "Bernie" onscreen (including the recent DVD intros) this was who he was jokingly referring to. He will be missed!

That is sad news. I remember seeing the name (and I think I might even have an interview with him from Extra Terrestrial Times; the ALF Fan Club newsletter).
