Episode Guide to season 1 for sale?

Post by ALFicionado »

Hi! When I got my Season 1 DVD, I got it without the Episode guide somehow, being a perfectionist I feel like I have to have it! So I was wondering if anyone here on the board may not be so crazy about it and may be willing to sell it to me?

What do you mean by the episode guide? Was this something that was inside the DVD?

Yep, it is an insert that shows which episodes are on each disc. The DVD set is not in airing order but in production order (to my knowledge, someone can correct me if I am wrong). So if you view an ALF episode guide (such as http://www.alftv.net/episodeguides/sitcom.html ) the DVD set will not be in that order.

Sorry, I posted that guest response...it logged me off for some reason :?

It is weird, My seasons 1 and 2 DVD sets did not come with an insert that has the episode listings.

Did I just hear you right? The order the episodes are in the DVD sets is NOT after the air dates?! Excuse my language but that sucks! it's just something about it that feels wrong!

If this is helpful, I could scan mine and email it to you. But unfortunately I don't have any extras.

haha, I think you did that deliberately! :) Nah, just kidding. Anyways, thank you for offering, but I have to say no thanks. I am currently awaiting a seller on a swedish auction to respond to my request regarding the Episode Guide, as I really want the real thing.

Thanks for the offer though.

Well, after years of searching without any luck, I went ahead and ordered Season 1 all over again. It wasn't just the missing episode guide, the things that keep the discs at their place was broken on one of them, so one of the DVD's was loose all the time. I had to have a piece of paper in the box just so it wouldn't get scratched up, so I decided to upgrade my set completely instead.

Let's just hope this one arrives safely at my home tomorrow, as well as include an episode guide!

Well, it seems things worked out anyway, finally. I now have the missing episode guide and a stitched up keepcase that is 100% working.

Problem solved, topic no longer serves a purpose. Thanks

I'm thinking that you may hve actually gotten a Canadian copy of Season originally. I live in Canada and the DVD's never came with any episode guides and they all contained the bad packaging that you all shunned.

No problem. There is an edit button if you feel he need to change something, btw.

As for the question where it came from, Canada could be possible.
