I didn't mean that far to the left, it's next to the "Quote" button.

Wait, so we can't edit our own posts? When did this happen and why?

If true, I had no idea. Most forums have this option.ALF wrote:Wait, so we can't edit our own posts? When did this happen and why?

Re: Episode Guide to season 1 for sale?
ALF & melmacian56,
First. lets go back to "Ground Zero". Appears AxelFoley had his hands mixed up when he commented that edit option is on left side. The edit option (as well as other options) should be at far "right" side of top line in each of your posts. NOTE: Options will only appear when reading your posts as a logged-on, registered member.
Any, and all, technical problems related to the Forum are solely handled by Admin. As a registered member who has logged-on to the Forum, you should be able to select options for your personal posts, but not for the posts of other members. When logged-on as a registered member, if edit option has somehow disappeared from your individual posts, please "Private Message" Admin, so that he can investigate and correct the problem.

It's too bad us Canadian customers didn't get the episode guides in any of the DVD sets :(It's lso too bad Lion's Gate didn't have the episodes in order on the cards. But I understand because they were going by production order.

Re: Episode Guide to season 1 for sale?
Just one thing to consider as far as the production order versus the airing order.
A lot of times the network, for whatever ridiculous reasons, mix up the episodes from the original production order when they air them. A show like ALF that was pretty much self contained, meaning you could miss an episode or two and tune in later not having any problem knowing what is going on. there would be a few exceptions to this. Obviously they would have to show episodes that introduce re-occuring guest stars before showing later episodes of them.
But take a show like 24. You almost absolutely have to see those in order to be able to keep up with the plot line. Most shows (with of course exceptions) are filmed in the order they are to take place chronologically. but when the network gets them they show them out of order. Anyone here a Firefly fan? How bad did Fox screw that one up? If they had shown it in order it would have made more sense when it was originally on and most likely would have lasted a lot longer. Instead, they showed the very first episode filmed (also the series pilot that explained the premise of the series) as the very last first run episode of the show. Imagine if they had done that with ALF? Can you see the logic in showing the first episode last?
So as much as I hate to give any real credit to a company that wont release the uncut versions of ALF, I have to at least throw that argument out there in their defense. they may have thought they were putting the shows on the dvds in the correct chronological order. maybe, maybe not.
