What e-mail do you have?

Just curious as to what everyone goes through for e-mail...Yahoo!, Gmail, Hotmail, etc.

I use Yahoo! mostly for my personal stuff...I've never had any problems with it. I also use Gmail when I want to save big documents/files and I don't want to clutter up my Yahoo! mailbox (I just forward it to Gmail).

What do you all use?

I use AOL.com mail....All the internet mail options out there confuse me. Aol is simple.

I use juno. I know, laugh me out of the building. I've had the same e-mail address since 2000 and I am not interested in changing it. Besides that, I haven't had too much of a problem with spamming.

I use Gmail now as well - I have about 5-6 different email accounts, but I have them all forwarded to my Gmail account. I do that because I can SEND from all my email accounts in Gmail, AND the spam filters are much better than any other email I have.

I give Gmail three thumbs up!

How do you have them forwarded automatically? I'd really like to do that with my Yahoo! accounts and forward them to my Gmail one.

When you're in your Gmail you want to go to "settings" in the top right corner. Once in there you want to select "accounts", then "add another email address" (there are two options like that on the page...I believe you want to use the one under "get mail from other accounts"). It'll take you through the steps, then send a confirmation email to your Yahoo! account. Hope this helps! Gmail is terrific.

While Gmail is a a "FREE" email program with lots to offer, I would strongly urge anyone concerned with "privacy rights" to very closely read the "Google" privacy statement for Gmail. You might be concerned by the awareness of just how invasive the Gmail software program is at compilation of personal data for much longer that accepted industry norm time period.

Personally, I like my privacy, what little I can still protect, and will not communicate with anyone using a Gmail acccount. Prior to Admin post I was not aware Gmail offered option to consolidate other email account communications onto Gmail. Now, aware of this additional data grab by "Google", I shall look to cease email communication with all contacts where I am able to determine my sent emails are being consolidated onto Gmail.
