This was obviously some years ago, but I remember ALF on a star-studded episode of "Matlock". I really don't recall much of the episode, but I think it took place in Hollywood and a fictional actor was at the center of the controversy. ALF and others submitted videos regarding the character of the individual on trial (if I remember it right).

Sorry, I missed seeing "Matlock" episode you mention. Do you recall if the episode was during the time period ALF TV series originally aired (1986 - 1990), or more recent?

It's from the episode "The Network", filmed in 1987.

ALF was on Matlock? Awesome! Too bad it sounds like he didn't go head to head against Matlock in the courtroom. Couldn't you just see the judge pulling out his own hair?

It's funny...I just learned today that ALF appeared on a 2nd season episode of Matlock and when I came to the forum I seen this topic. If there's any Matlock fans out there, it was announced on TVshowsondvd.com that the second season DVD set will be released on January 13th and they listed ALF as one of the guest stars. Just thought I'd throw that otu there

Wow i didnt know that! My mom loved that show and i never knew this info thanks. by the way i did watch alot of matlock because i had to!HA!HAha

I have never seen this episode (though I did watch Matlock quite a bit, back in its day), but I just checked and the DVD is now available on Netflix, so I put it in my queue. The episode, "The Network," is on season 2, disc 2.
