Website Update

Post by Admin »

Hey everyone!

I've just been looking through the stats for the website we're getting almost 200 visits per day! Unfortunately most of those people don't visit the forum, which means that I have to find some way of marketing the forum a little better. All in all the website is as strong as ever (visits are going up every month) and I look forward to getting some updates in this summer. I feel terrible that I haven't been able to do anything with it the last few months.

Well, I'll keep you all updated on how everything goes. I'm going to start tomorrow with the updates since my last test is tomorrow morning - then I can get cracking...I have to work out something with Scott and get him over by me to work on some more sound and video clips.

Just thought I'd give you all an update about what's going on right now.

I don't want to complain or anything, but is this how this forum is going to look like in the future?? I'm sorry to say it but it looked way better before, with the space theme and all, it fits very well. It looks so stiff now, with white all around, and if it start to hurt your eyes after a while since it's such a bright color...

Hi - the space theme will continue. For some reason (and I can't figure out why) the theme keeps "uninstalling" itself and going back to the original forum template; reinstalling it only takes about a minute (since all the files are already uploaded). I just discovered this problem recently and haven't been able to find the cause of it. Until then I'll just have to do reinstalls every two or three days until it's fixed. Thanks for posting.

More good news - I've been getting alot of work done on the site the last few days...so be sure to expect the site to be updated before the weekend. I suppose it's kinda pointless for me to post this, but I thought I'd let you all know a few days ahead of time (so you can keep your eyes open). I'll be sure to post again when it's all ready - shouldn't take more than another three hours to finish this update (hopefully).

Got the site updated a few minutes ago - still a couple various odds and ends I want to get up over the next few weeks, but for the most part everything is there. If anyone has any suggestions for any future updates (or additions to the website) please let me know.
