At last!!! The European sets have been released in Australia!!!

I wonder what brought on the sudden release of different style sets outside of North America?

I think the Germans started the trend and other countries jumped on the bandwagon, ALF is obviously a show that still sells.

Hi, I'm a new member and I'm just getting back into Alf. I should have never left, HA!

Anyway, I have a couple of questions about the uncut DVD's.
1. Is Amazon.de the most convenient way to buy uncut ALF DVD's?
2. Are there any other countries that sell uncut ALF DVD's besides Germany and Australia?
2. What is the average length of an uncut ALF episode? 24 or 25 minutes?

I do understand the ALF German DVD's are region 2 and PAL. I am going to buy the American ALF DVD's as well since they have some decent extras.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Yes, definitely. That or EBAY

Holland certainly does

2. What is the average length of an uncut ALF episode? 24 or 25 minutes?
I would say around 23/24 minutes.

Maybe a dumb question...but about the English audio on the German dvd's...is it the ACTUAL English audios or is it German actors doing a voice-over?

Hi.

I am planning on buying the complete 4 season dvd set from Germany by September of this year. As you know, September 22 will mark Alf's 25th anniversary.

Has anyone ordered from Amazon's German store? If so, did you know that they have help pages in English? That's all very well. But, what happens when you are placing an order and come to the "Check Out" button? How do you know what's on the screen if you can't read German to help you complete your order? Also, are US customers able to use the Amazon currency converter from the German store when placing an order?

Please let me know. Thank you very much.

I buy from amazon.de frequently. They have a currency converter and the site is similar enough to amazon.com to navigate. Google Translate can also help if you are stuck. The site is in German but it is close enough to English to make some of it out.

Yo, I just bought season1 from german amazon and it seems to be uncut :P
The playing time is longer on all seasons EXCEPT season 3. It seems to have the same number of episodes. Can any one confirm whether german season 3 is cut or uncut?

The seasons are all uncut, one or two episodes has a some minor cuts, nothing major.

Looks like the complete furry box set is now sold out but you can still get it on Amazons Marketplace but they are expensive.
Individual season sets are still available.
