private message does not work

everytime i try to send a PM to a member, it just keeps comming up as a preview, i click submit and its a preview.

i have the members name to send to, a title to message, the message itself, and submit. then its a preview.

i tried several times to make it work and nada.

is this just me?

i got it. same <EDIT> thou when i tried to reply... sadly.

It is not a problem with the forum software. The reason you are getting the "preview" is because you are adding the member's username to the box, but you are forgetting to click the "ADD" button alongside of the box after you type in the member's name.

thanks, did you change that recently? cause i never seen previews before, and i always could send my messages till then.

No problem

The forum software I use here is phpBB3, which uses that feature. Overall, the software is great (better than a lot of other stuff out there)...but there are some bugs that need to be worked out (like having to click on "add" to add a username...definitely pointless IMO).

Yeah, that was the problem I was having when I first joined. Then I realized I had to click add.
