There are photos being sold of ALF's Dummy on ebay, which got me thinking-I wonder what happened to that puppet and also if it was especially made for the show, or can you buy the same type on the market? It would have to be a child's doll if it was!

Just an update.I found out that Paul Fusco has no idea what happened to the dummy or where it is now.

Well not the man himself.I did an internet search to try and find out who built "Paul".I found a Ventriloquist maker who made a Dummy for Paul Fusco and thought it must have been for "Paul", but it wasnt.It was a different dummy.Anyway, the builder is a friend of Paul's, and asked him about "Paul" on my behalf.The builder has now offered to build me a "Paul" from scratch.

Oh how cool, your very own "Paul"! I love that episode with the dummy. I heard there is some kind of an "in joke" about the scene where Willy meets Larry, not sure i can remember what it is. I hope the movie comes off or at least we get to see ALF again soon!

No offense to whoever bought it but i really don't like the ALF. It's ok as a toy, but as a replica the scale is way off as they built it to "cannon" height and claimed "actual size" which is baloney.

A Ventriloquist maker in the States made it for me.He made an edition of 2, so no more
will be made.The puppet's name is "Paul", named by ALF, probably as an in joke to Paul Fusco.

Yes, its the best there is right now, and the head sculpt is pretty good.
