Strangers in The Night pre credit?

Just writing some notes for my ALF site and noticed that the R2 German release of Strangers in The Night doesn't have a pre credit sequence is this the norm for this episode?

I'll have to check this out next time I get out my originals...I had never noticed before. It wouldn't surprise me since it is the second episode (and the first official episode after the pilot).

Just checked the R1 DVD syndicated episode and they have taken the first scene of the episode and turned it into a pre credit!

It would seem that the R2 is the correct uncut version with no pre credit sequence appearing until the third episode (Looking For Lucky).

Thank god for those R2 releases

I'm really hoping to get those German releases sometime in the near future. I really like my DVDs, but often I will pull out my VHS tapes (original airings w/commercials) and I still prefer those. I am in the process of converting them to DVD (well, WAS in the process), but that has taken a big halt because of my busy schedule.

Might be worth waiting until all the seasons are out in R2, you never know they might release an ALF Uncut DVD box set with all four seasons and Project ALF in a lovley orange fur box....we can all dream hey!
