I'm New Yere, Mark Sent Me

Sorry this posted twice...however I didn't see this introduction thread until AFTER I posted this in the Sitcom category considering the Sitcom is what I watched mostly. But there I said:
Hi. My name is Ken Netzel (kennetzel) and I just found this forum thanks to Mark from Bring Back Alf. I watched the show since it first hit TV back in '86. There was a TV show on before Alf premiered called Mr. Smith. It was a show about an ape that programmed network television. It was chik at the time to laugh at it because it was such a turkey. I watched Alf for that reason...I wanted in on the joke and be able to say YEAH I SAW THAT TURKEY. But something happened. I laughed my tail off durin the first episode and was hooked immediately. I watched it loyally every night it was on and just rediscoverd the show on DVD. The show was clever, well executed and played by all actors, especially Paul Fusco and Max Wright. The perfect comic and straightman. I immediately bought my talking Alf doll the minute it was available, which started me on a collecting binge since then of all sorts of pop culture icon collectables. Being a sci fi fan, I collect toy robots mostly, especially the robot from Lost in Space. But I am also an artist and do art in Corel. I hope to finally meet more Alf fans.
