They should of made a ALF behind the scenes documentry
I was thinking that the creaters should of made a behind the scenes Documentry of how ALF was made like how big the platform was,how the trapdoors were set ,interveiw with the cast pictures of ALF behind the couch and under the trapdoor, and how it took hours to shoot!

Re: They should of made a ALF behind the scenes documentry
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it has been noted that Paul Fusco wanted the behind the scenes bits of ALF kept under wraps so that it wouldn't ruin the magic of the character. Now today there have been clips leaked which was beyond the control of Paul Fusco that show some behind the scenes footage from outtakes.

That is correct, and I fully understand and agree Paul Fusco's decision.

That is correct - when I heard that I even took down a couple of clips from the website and YouTube pages (even though it was not requested by Mr. Fusco to do so). I agree with Cody that it would ruin some of the magic of the character. Part of me thinks it would be neat to see, and a big part of my doesn't want to see it.

Re: They should of made a ALF behind the scenes documentry
I think they missed a trick with the DVD's and should have had a retrospective documentary with ALF interviewing the cast and creators talking about the making of the show without giving any of the magic away.
Maybe there will be an ultimate edition one day with something like that on it.

I agree. It woulld be interesting with a documentary, but as prevous posts said, we wouldn't want the magic to go away. But maybe it's possible to not reveal to much if a documentary was made.

If they did a sit down interview (and did not show any footage) that would interest me.

Good thing they didn't give away the magic away. but alf interviewing cast would be great! Without ruining the magic

I only so once how ALF was made (today) and went to see the episode right away. It didn't spoil a thing for me. The writing is so good and the character of ALF is awesome, nothing can spoil it. Still if mr. Fusco wants it to be under wraps I comply.
That ain't a vision of love, it's a yoghurt commercial !

I agree 100%. i could watch behind the scenes footage and still love ALF, maybe even more after seeing how much work is put into a single show.ALFIsMyIdol wrote:I only so once how ALF was made (today) and went to see the episode right away. Also, i really wish they had to put out more bloopers, the lionsgate collection were really funny
