I think an asparagus costume would be awesome for Halloween, maybe even a costume of ALF wearing an asparagus costume :lol:

This is one of my least favorite episodes, actually. Alf does look good in that asparagus costume though.

Shreddinghead, I understand your feelings. Brian and Spencer's singing kind of makes one's ears bleed. It is a catchy tune, though ;)

As a music teacher, I don't understand why they didn't put the song in a lower key that would be easier for kids to sing - sounds more like they are shouting the song.

I guess this episode's memorability makes up for it's basic faults, which is why I and many others consider it to be a great episode.
The storyline itself wasn't very impressive; Brian and Spencer can't get along, which can potentially cause the song they're singing to go awry, so ALF gives Brian a Lucky Charm of sorts. It's not necessarily a bad storyline; it's just a pretty mediocre one.
In memorability standards, however, this episode is a true classic. I mean, how many other TV shows feature an Alien wearing an Asparagus costume? Not only that, but the episode is pretty funny, as well. Plus, most people I know who remember ALF, but haven't seen it in years still remember this episode very specifically; which just goes to show how memorable it is.

that is true, out of all the episodes this was one the few that remember the most, some of the jokes in it are really good and ALF wearing the asparagus costume is probably the best WTF moments in ALF, so that it is the mot rememberable to everyone.
