ALF Lands on Amazon Prime Video!

Post by melmacian56 »

Greetings ALF fanatics!

It's been a LONG time since I've posted on this forum. News on ALF has been very scarce in recent years and my attention has been pulled away from the forums. I'm happy to be back and my love for ALF is as strong as ever.

I recently became a subscriber to Amazon Prime Video which I highly recommend for you TV buffs. I was looking this morning and seen that ALF has been added to their lineup. Unfortunately, it is the syndicated versions that are used and only seasons one and two are available at the moment. However, any of you looking to feed your appetite for ALF and just happen to have an Amazon Video subscription, this could be useful to you.

It's a bit rotten that we won't be getting uncut ALF episodes on any platform here in North America but it's still good to see that the character can be introduced to a new generation of viewers on such a unique platform.

Ooh! I got Amazon Prime last year, and I can't live without it! That's some good timing, as I want to get back into ALF soon, and the computer on which I had basically the whole franchise downloaded has died. By the way, they now have all four seasons (but probably the crappy syndicated versions :( )

Don't you own the show? Europe has the uncut episodes.

I had pirated copies, and I'm in America. However, I did rip the hard drive out of my old computer, so once I get a cable to connect it to my new computer, I can get it back. I think I actually had just downloaded the uncut versions when my old computer died (I don't remember for sure, as all that happened a year and a half ago). Hopefully recovering all that stuff won't be much of a challenge given that said hard drive was from a Mac and I now have a PC...
