Alf unedited recordings

I have been trying to find original recdordings of alf for months and haven't been able to find any and I was hoping someone could help me as I'm starting to lose hope.

I have a few different sets of The Alf series on VHS. Haven't looked at them in years and no longer have a VCR or VHS player. We may be able to work something out if you can produce unedited DVDs from these tapes.

If you mean the un-syndicated episodes, they are available on DVD sets from Germany. (Don't worry, they are in English)

If we are in America, do we need a separate amazon account to order the unedited episodes. Now if they have the unedited of Quantum Leap, that would be a killer!

I have a question about the german version of ALF DVDS. I own this version and I can't find varsity drag on the german DVD. It should be the last episode on season 2. I see it listed in the booklet that comes with the DVD but when I go to find it, it just doesn't seem to exist has anyone else found this to be the case? If it is somehow on there any idea where.

That´s the case! The german Blu-Rays of 2020 have all episodes uncut and with all original music restored.

German blu rays ? Must have missed this ! Or are they the Shout ! ones I saw mentioned in another thread ?

Will have to look into this set, as I have the normal DVD`s, but I kind of like how they look, and similar to how I originally saw it back in the 80`s.

There are no Blu-Rays of ALF. The german DVDs you have are the only ones, I have them too. Shout! Factory released the whole series last October, but these are DVDs too. As Shout! Factory is an american company, europeans like the two of us need a region free player to play them. Besides the animated episodes and the film, this set includes the few scenes that are missing in the german set.

The confusion came because I was answering to a post where somebody wished to have a satisfying set of Quantum Leap and I recommended the german set of Blu-Rays.

Are there edited versions of Quantum Leap out there ? I`ve only seen a few episodes, so not sure if they`ve been cut or
are the originals, and I think there`s quite a lot of music in the episodes I`ve watched, so I might have seen the uncut ones.

I don't know if there were scenes cut, but the american DVDs had all songs replaced, because of legal issues. As the laws here are different, the Blu-Rays from Germany contain every song that was in an episode when it first aired.

I thought it might have been something to do with music, as in certain ALF episodes.

It`s so annoying how many old shows now can`t be sold as they were, due to these copyright claims.
