Calling all ALF fans!

Post by ALFicionado »

Hi everybody! I am now offering you the chance to be a part of an ALF project that I am currently working on. Unfortunately I can not tell you what kind of project it is that I am doing, but I will once I'm done. 'Til then, I need you to help me.
What I want you to do is:

In one sentence, say something about ALF the persona or the sitcom. Like what the show meant to you, or how much you enjoy watching ALF, something like that. Also, if you could include your first name and the country you live in, it would be great!
I really need your help so I would appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks!

OK, great. Then say 1 sentence about what you think about ALF. And your name if you'd like (would be great)

Haha, even though I liked your quote, do you perhaps have a more subtle one? You know, without the "butt"? :)

No Problem!

ALF is a very unique and interesting character, because his sometimes-rude personality, being from a different planet, and having a constant urge to eat cats. Even though his everyday habits clash with the family, ALF brings the family closer together before he leaves.

I hope that's not too long! Haaa!

ALF in my opinion showed me that even though he broke everything in sight he always made up for it in some way and no matter what he will always be loved by all his fans including me.

I love Alf because the show is just so funny. The plots are good, Alf's voice is unique, and the actors play their parts very well. Alf is truly one of the greatest comedies ever that brings belly-laughs decades after it was made!

Hey Axel, sounds cool! I'll give ya my quote...

"Even though I wasn't alive during the 80's, I remember watching ALF on the Odyssey Network when I was younger and ALF was a great, no, excellant, funny show--Viva ALF!

Thanks everyone for the quotes, I have enough quotes for the project now, actually even more than enough, I'll choose the quotes that will be a part of the project, which will be finished within a couple of days, hopefully! The members of this board will be the first ones to know.

Thanks everyone, you've been a great help!

Hey Axel,

Sorry about the SUPER-late reply; I was very busy. Anyway, here's my shortened version of my entry.

ALF is a very unique character, mainly because of his different ways and having a constant urge to eat cats. Sometimes his everyday habits clash with the family, but overall ALF is a nice guy to have around.

I hope that's not too long.

ALF was a great family show that was a genuine G rated show, but was still very funny, there are very few shows like that on television currently. Joe from the USA.

The ALF sitcom is the greatest show on television. It is practically the only show that I remember when I was little. It left a great impact on me. That is why I was so thrilled when ALF was coming out on DVD. I could relive from my childhood.

Hey people, I am very sorry for the big delay on the project, I've been busy with several different things, one of them being a job-coaching project that takes up a big part of my day.

The project is more or less done, I will post it here in 4 days, just in time for ALF's 20th anniversary :D

I really hope you will like it. So the countdown begins...

4 days to go
