Were You a Member of the ALF Fan Club?

In 1987 I joined the ALF Fan Club and joined again in 1989. If you joined you not only received two newsletters, but a locker poster, six circular stickers, ALF's Favorite Menu, ALF's biography, a membership card, and more! It was very cool and I still have my original fan club kit (well, the one from 1989).

Yes, i was a member of the "original" ALF Fan Club. I also joined in 1987, and still today my framed "Membership Certificate" and "ALF Biography" (also received in package) hang on walls in my apartment.

I'm not sure we had an ALF fan club in Sweden I'm afraid

The best part about the club is it specifically stated on the membership certificate that you are a member until ALF personally tells you that you're not. I don't know about the rest of you, but so far, with me, he hasn't!

I was barely out of diapers when ALF was on television. I suppose I could have asked my parents...but I get the feeling that the word "no" would have come out of their mouths. I'm not sure if I'd let my 4, 5, 6-year-old, etc. be part of a fan club either...

I see. I was 1 when ALF started myself, maybe 2-3 when it first aired in Sweden.
